Saint Nicholas, Egg Harbor 1864
In 1864 Father Franz Junker, newly arrived from Bavaria,
was sent as first resident priest to minister to the Catholics of
Egg Harbor. Redemptorist Fathers from St. Peter's in Philadelphia had been coming to Egg Harbor to care for the Catholic
community there since 1858. Bishop Bayley of Newark had laid
the cornerstone of a church in 1860, but delayed by the Civil
War, construction was not in progress until a few months after

Saint Joseph, Hammonton 1890
St. Joseph began as a mission of St. Nicholas, Egg Harbor, by its pastor, Father Esser, in 1880. The dedication of a new church took place in 1887; the building was on North Third Street. Father C. Romot was named first pastor, followed by Father B. Grom. After this the parish was re-united with St. Nicholas. The Missionary Fathers of the Sacred Heart assumed pastoral care of the parish in 1891, with Father P.M. Barral assigned to administer.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Berlin 1903
As early as 1880, a priest from the city of Camden, Father Michael Dilelsi, was assigned by Trenton Bishop McFaul to celebrate Mass each Sunday in what was then known as West Berlin. Mass was celebrated either in private homes or in the stable at the Old Tavern. At this time most of the Catholics in the area were farmers of Italian heritage.

Saint Mary, Williamstown 1909
St. Mary's began as a mission to St. Joseph, Hammonton in 1906. The first Mass, in what is now St. Mary's parish, was celebrated on Christmas 1903 at the Old Town Hall, Main and Hall Streets. St. Mary's was erected as a parish in 1909, with Father Nazareth Sagatori as its first pastor. The first church was built in 1909 and a new church dedicated on Labor Day 1925 at Main Street and Carroll Avenue by Bishop Thomas J. Walsh of Trenton. The present church located adjacent to the former one was completed in 1956.

Assumption, Atco 1947
Assumption began as a mission of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Berlin. The church, still standing, was built in 1909 on the White Horse Pike. Father Peter A. Budniak was named first pastor when the parish was established in 1947.

Saint Martin de Porres, Hammonton 1962
St. Martin de Porres parish was established on 1962, from within the boundaries of St. Joseph's, Hammonton with Father Jerome M. Prisco as its first pastor. At the beginning, Masses were celebrated in Hammonton High School Auditorium and Fire House #2, White Horse Pike, Hammonton. more on St. Martin de Porres
Saint Anthony of Padua, Hammonton 1965
Formerly a mission of St. Martin de Porres, Hammonton, St. Anthony of Padua became a parish on August 4. 1965, Father Umberto Carta as its first pastor. Masses were celebrated for the new parish community at St. Martin de Porres Church and at Fire House #2, Hammonton. more on St. Anthony of Padua
Saint Anthony, Waterford 1966
The Waterford community was originally settled by Irish immigrants. About the middle of the 18th century, priests visiting the area were urged to use Shane's Castle for services. Shane's Castle was a rough, cedar log cabin built by three German brothers, Ignatius, Sebastian and Xavier Waas in the mid 1700.

Saint John Neumann, Sicklerville 1977
The Winslow Crossing Catholic community was begun in June 1972 when Father Francis J. Gramigna was sent to the area to take up a census and serve the needs of the new Winslow Crossing projects. Mass was at first celebrated in homes until September 1972, when Mass was celebrated on weekends in School #2, Winslow Township.
